Canterbury sign centre Kurt Heatherley

NATIONAL League 2 East side Canterbury have signed 29-year-old former Auckland and Jersey Reds centre Kurt Heatherley.

Canterbury started their season against Colchester yesterday.

Head coach Matt Corker said: “We are excited to add a player with Kurt’s experience and physical presence.

“He will add a great deal to the team.”

Heatherly spent the summer playing 7s in France for Clermont.
