NEW Zealand proved themselves undisputed queens of Olympic 7s by beating Canada at the Stade de France to secure their second gold medal in a row.
Leading 14-12 in the final minutes, the outstanding Stacey Waaka dived over in the corner to seal victory. New Zealand had not been the flashiest team of the tournament but were well-deserved winners.
