HARLEQUINS have signed Great Britain Sevens winger Grace Crompton from Bristol Bears.
The 22-year-old — who was previously involved with Quins as a youth player — is the youngest member of Team GB's squad for the Olympics.
She featured at the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens for England while still an undergraduate student.
“I'm super excited and honoured to become a Quin,” said Crompton, below. “They helped me develop massively within the centre of excellence, so it's amazing to be back.
“It's an iconic shirt, so I can't wait to put it on for the first time,” she added.
Crompton will join her fellow Paris Olympians Heather Cowell and Lauren Torley at Harlequins, who agreed new contracts this week, and star player Ellie Kildunne.
Winger Cowell, 28, who was part of Harlequins' title-winning side in 202021, will enter her seventh season at the club after representing Team GB in France.
Full-back Torley, 24, will enter her third season at The Stoop after joining from DMP Sharks in 2022. The lengths of their contracts have not been specified.
Great Britain face Ireland, Australia and South Africa in Pool B in Paris, starting with Ireland today at 2.30pm.
