There have been more reports recently about the Six Nations wanting to do away with Sunday games and have more Super Saturdays with the occasional Friday night kick off by way of variety.
The TV bosses and paymasters are keen apparently but I would resist on all fronts. It’s an extremely bad idea.
Firstly, I’m not a great fan of the Super Saturday concept, now adopted only on the final weekend. How many TV viewers actually have the opportunity to sit down all day and watch all three games? You miss so much, it’s over in a flash. It’s like being in the best restaurant you’...
