WORLD Player of the Year Ardie Savea has poured scorn on those who thought he was in Japan on a jolly ahead of next weekend’s Test opener against England.
The New Zealand back row has played just once in six weeks, after the end of his stint with Kobelco Kobe Steelers, and that was with his club side.
Savea pulled his boots on for Oriental-Rongotai in a Swindale Shield match against Wellington at Hataitai Park last weekend.
