Steve Hill puts the questions to Dan Cox, below, head coach at Bristol-based club Old Redcliffians

Why did you get into coaching rugby and how did you arrive at your current position?
Very much by accident at my old club Cleve. I was a terror when I was younger so I love helping those in the same boat through the medium of rugby. Over the last 13 years I did a lot of free coaching before making the full-time career shift seven years ago. I went to university to do a BSc in Coaching, followed by a MSc and started a PhD at the University of Edinburgh three years ago.
