New owners provide financial guarantees

BIARRITZ’S new owners this week provided French rugby’s financial watchdog with suitable guarantees of their finances, and revealed an eight-year plan to rebuild the club on more solid financial and playing footings. The new bosses’ first job will be to find a replacement for the departing Simon Mannix, with former Munster star James Coughlan reportedly on a shortlist for the top job.
