Former St Helens league star is to stay at until at least the end of the season after impressing coach Johann van Graan.

Grace joined Bath on a short-term contract in February and has continued to train with the club following two appearances in friendlies during the period.

The 27-year-old had made the switch to union with at the start of the 2022/23 season, but ruptured his achilles in one of his games for St Helens before he was due to head across the Channel.

A relapse of the injury in February 2023 meant he did not make a single appearance for the Parisians, but the three-time Super League winner has fared better in Bath according to his boss.

“Regan has impressed both on and off the pitch over the last few months,” van Graan said.

“He has a clear point of difference in his play and that will be very valuable for our team. It’s great to have Regan on board.”
