JACK Yeandle, one of Exeter’s longest serving players, has not been surprised by the Chiefs’ resurgence this season despite the loss of a number of players who were part of the Premiership and Champions Cup double four years ago.
The 34-year old hooker is the elder statesman of a young side that is pushing hard for a play-off place in the Premiership and which goes into today’s Champions Cup match in Bayonne set on a home draw in the last 16.
