Doncaster Knights head coach Steve Boden believes it’s important Championship clubs meet the Premiership’s minimum standards criteria for promotion – but says he is isn’t talking about his side’s chances of going up to the top flight.
Boden’s side are the only Championship club that meet the criteria, which include a current stadium capacity of over 5,000 and aspirations to extend to over 10,001 in the short-term.
Doncaster’s home ground Castle Park holds the required 5,000 and the club has planning permission to extend beyond 10,001 while also meeting the safety assurances...
