Two of England’s 2003 World Cup winners, Phil Vickery and Mark Regan, are among the 295 players taking legal action against rugby authorities over brain injury claims.
All 295 are seeking damages as they claim World Rugby, the RFU and WRU failed in their duty of care by not putting in place any reasonable measures to protect their health and safety. The claim is strongly rejected by all three governing bodies.
