THE hearse carrying Glanmor Griffiths on his final journey made a detour through central Cardiff allowing the cortege to stop outside the Principality Stadium.
Traffic came to a brief standstill as the family of the former Welsh Rugby Union president paused outside his monumental creation en route to the funeral service at Llandaff Cathedral and burial in his home village, Blackmill.
