Aylesbury battle but Shiplake take the honours

SHIPLAKE College secured a hard-fought 17-7 victory against Aylesbury in the Davies Shield -a fixture named in honour of former Shiplake College headmaster Gregg Davies.
Tyrone Howe, a former Ireland and British & Irish Lions player who now serves as the headmaster of Shiplake, allowed the school community to watch the match. Despite the wet and gloomy conditions, a spirited crowd of 750 filled the atmosphere with excitement.
