First win for Bath in tough game v Cardiff

BATH secured their first win of the BUCS Super Rugby season in their annual Anniversary Game with a close-fought 25-20 win over Cardiff Met.
Despite the torrential rain, thousands of Bath fans turned up to support and were rewarded when player of the match Scott Kirk scored what would ultimately be the winning try with 20 minutes to play.
Fellow Bath Rugby academy forwards Jasper Sandler and Jack Bennett also notched a try each, while fly-half Iwan Price-Thomas’ 10 points with the boot were enough to seal the win.
