BILLINGHAM secured their fourth win of the season, but were made to work hard for it.
Hull Ionians dominated them first eight minutes with their forward pack making in roads in Billingham’s defence. After nine minutes, Billingham against the play foraged into the I’s half. Joe Ross danced through tacklers, before the forwards took over. Now into the I’s five-metre line, Mike Walton stepped the first tackle and stretched over.
