WHAT a start to this World Cup with host France beating the mighty All Blacks in a classic opening match by 27 points to 13. It was a French performance that seems to have ignited the whole of the Northern Hemisphere with every country winning their opening matches, barring Scotland. But Scotland, who faced reigning champions South Africa now have a two-week break to put things in order before their next game against Tonga.
Ireland and Italy both had comfortable wins admittedly over lesser opponents but they still put the points on the board...
