THE heat was on for these sides after losing in round one, with Samuel Heron’s boot making the difference.
Billingham drew first blood as Peter Youll crashed over for the opening score.
After 19 minutes a Tynedale scrum allowed Cam Grant to step through the Billingham defence to score. Jake Rodgers kicked the extras.
