MOST fans are staying around the Vieux Port in Marseille, setting for memorable scenes in the Gene Hackman movie, The French Connection. England are staying nowhere near it, billeted in the middle of nowhere near the airport. Nice hotel, but they are not going to see much of the city on this trip. They will have to make the quarter-finals to have a proper look.
