LIONS took the spoils in a Leicestershire derby which both coaches will have gone away happy with the progress of their sides.
Luke Bouchier opened the scoring for Lions after a couple of minutes after multiple phases in the Hinckley 22, before this was equalised by Ben Pointon scoring for Hinckley from a set move from a scrum.
Lions then managed to control the field for a good portion of the half, in part due to Hinckley’s ambition running the ball from all corners of the field and at times a lack of accuracy which gave the ball up, meaning before the break...
