LEICESTER have signed Ulster second row Sam Carter and Tonga centre Solomone Kata, following his release by Exeter.
Both players will be reunited with incoming Tigers boss Dan McKellar, having played under him at the Brumbies. Former Wallaby Carter, 33, left the Super Rugby side for Ulster in 2019.
Kata, 28, scored four tries in 17 games in his season with Exeter having returned to rugby union with the Brumbies in 2020 after a stint in rugby league during which he played for New Zealand.
