Ireland flanker calls time

IRELAND back row Jordi Murphy, 31, will retire at the end of the season. Murphy won three Six Nations titles and scored a try in Ireland’s first-ever win over New Zealand in 2016.
Murphy, who joined Ulster in 2018 after coming through Leinster’s academy, wrote on social media: “To represent my country will always be one of the highlights of my life.”
Murphy won the 2018 Champions Cup with Leinster and made 30 appearances for Ireland, playing in the 2015 and 2019 World Cups.
