THIS season’s County Championships will feature numerous changes which the RFU believe will enhance player experience.
Following the County Championship review, and to encourage competitive fixtures, the promotion and relegation system has been removed.
Instead, counties apply for the division they wish to enter each year in an effort to acknowledge that teams’ playing ability can vary each season.
