Tierney dies at 46

FORMER Ireland, Leicester and Munster scrum-half Tom Tierney died on Friday at the age of 46.
Tierney, who made his Ireland debut in 1999, played in eight matches including four during the 1999 World Cup.
The Limerick native moved into coaching after hanging up his boots. Most recently he had been employed as an IRFU national talent coach.
