Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall says there has been no contact from England with his scrum coach Ian Peel amid speculation that he is in line to coach the Red Rose scrum during the upcoming Six Nations.
The exit of Matt Proudfoot has created a vacancy if Borthwick decides he needs to bring in another specialist rather than have himself coach that aspect of the team or give the responsibility over to forwards coach Richard Cockerill.
This has resulted in Peel, the Saracens forwards/set-piece coach since 2015, being linked with the job for the Six Nations which begins with the February ...
