Bow: ‘P share’ model needs to be scrapped

Premiership Rugby’s ‘P share’ ownership model must be scrapped if reforms to the top tier are to have any real teeth – according to Nottingham chairman Alistair Bow.
Negotiations between the RFU, the Premiership (PRL) and Championship clubs have been on-going for the last couple of months since Worcester and Wasps went into administration.
Triggered by the two clubs’ demise, talks began with the aim of instigating changes to rejuvenate the sport and relaunch the Premiership through “moving towards a new system”, as PRL boss Simon Massie-Taylor put it.
