BRISTOL Bears women have become the first team in the Premier 15s to put players’ names on the back of their shirts, an initiative started by head coach Dave Ward.
Ward says it has always been a goal of his. “It’s something that was on my radar from minute one after joining the club,” he said. “I was lucky enough to play in the Premiership myself and it was a really big deal for me to have my name on the shirt.”
