IN A long match, with 44 minutes on the clock in the first half and 54 in the second, Worthing deservedly beat North Walsham in a hard fought contest.
The match started brightly for the Vikings with possession and territory. After nine minutes Matt Hodgson slotted a penalty over after Worthing were penalised for holding on.
Then Worthing took control, scoring a try in the 11th minute, after collecting the restart in their own 22 and swepping up the pitch for Zack Carr to score a try converted by Mathew Mclean.
