Quins ace Marchant says au revoir to England

HARLEQUINS centre Joe Marchant will leave English rugby behind this summer in favour of signing for Top 14 side Stade Francais.
The decision will see him put aside any designs on continuing his international career.
Marchant, 26, has 15 caps and was on England’s tour of Australia earlier this year but has since been left out of Eddie Jones’ squad for the Autumn Nations Series.
Having come through the Quins academy he has made over 130 ap- pearances and was part of the 2020/21 Premiership winning side.
