LEICESTER Lions have never achieved promotion to National One but after a strong start to the season head coach Gareth Collins hopes his team can continue challenging at the top of the table.
Going into this weekend, the Lions sat second in National Two West. They kicked off the season with four consecutive wins but their 16-game unbeaten home record came to an end a fortnight ago at the hands of table toppers Dings Crusaders.
Collins said the 19-15 defeat was tough to take and welcomed their recent week off as a chance to regroup.
