CARDIFF recorded another narrow away victory as they beat Cardiff Met in a derby that came down to the last play of the game.
James Roberts piled over from the back of a rolling maul in which the Cardiff backs had joined in, to give the visitors a 27-24 victory at the Arms Park in front of a crowd of over 4,000.
Cardiff head of rugby Alan Flowers said it was “sweet moment” to come out on top, especially after the same opposition had cruelly denied them by one point in last season’s Championship quarterfinal.
