A STRONG showing earned Worthing their third win of the campaign from a bruising encounter with Canterbury.
The first try went to Worthing’s Fergus Guiry as their pace saw them carve through in the 22. Harrison Sims converted.
Canterbury struck back when a half-break took them into the 22 and Frank Reynolds knocked over a penalty.
Worthing were winning multiple penalties and getting to the Canterbury five-metre line. From a driving lineout, the Raiders almost made it over, but were held just short. ...
