Exeter University looked to go top as they hosted bottom-of-the-table Stourbridge and dispatched their foes.
The away side were on fire in the first ten minutes, and increasing pressure saw Tim Bitirim touch down after some fine interplay.
The youngsters had to battle hard to get back into the game, but after Stourbridge failed to gather a grubber, the resulting pressure was all too much, and Ronan Kelly was able to drive through and score.
