Dragons are eyeing up a move for former Scarlets centre Steffan Hughes.
Hughes has been a free agent since being released by the Scarlets at the end of last season, unable to find a contract. The 28- year-old had been linked with a move to Leicester while there had also been interest from Hartpury, and a Major League Rugby club in America.
While a deal has not been completed TRP understands the Dragons are the clear front runners. Hughes was one of the most reliable players in Welsh rugby with the hard running centre a steady influence in the Scarlets midfield.
