IT was a try-fest at Roundstone Lane as Worthing Raiders claimed their first win of the season.
A keenly-contested opening quarter saw both sides struggle to find a moment of quality, but the Raiders patience was rewarded when winger Jerome Rudd went over for the game’s first try.
Sevenoaks’ heavyweight pack started to make their mark, nudging them into a half-time lead. James Simmons and Adam King were the men driven over but with both sides’ kickers struggling to find any sort of rhythm.
