A TENSE local derby went the way of Rochford after a pivotal red was given to Westcliff ’s Lachlan Doyle.
Westcliff opted to take three penalty scrums on the home line and were rewarded with an audacious chip through from Greg Bannister, which he duly converted, too.
Rochford hit back via Mac Duaibe crashed over, with Chris Dudman restoring parity.
