A FINE second-half performance saw Dorking run out comfortable winners having turned round at half-time with the scores at 19-14.
With three minutes gone, Raiders’ Curtis Barnes crossed following a slick backline move converted by Harrison Sims.
The Red & Whites hit back with two quick tries from Will Scholes, both converted Henry Anscombe. From a stolen lineout the Raiders cleared their lines and collecting a turnover ball with Barnes in for his second with Sims adding the conversion.
Collecting the restart kick-off, Dorking’s Finn Osborne stormed upfield and slipped an inside pass to the supporting Fred Dalton who was over in a corner for Dorking’s third.
Dorking added a further seven points with a fine solo effort from George Jackson early in the second half when he dummied from the base of the ruck to go clear under the posts, converted by Anscombe.
Excellent tries by Toby Mcrae and a cracker out wide by former Worthing player Henry Birch, along with a conversion and two further Anscombe penalties sealed the win.
An 80th-minute try from Raiders’ Thomas Hatch gave the visitors a consolation bonus point for the fourth try.
