CHARLIE Venables balances his job as a strength and conditioning coach at Leeds Rhinos alongside his playing duties at Leeds Tykes and hopes to power his side away from the threat of relegation.
Leeds finished last season nine points clear of relegation in National One in 13th after a strong finish to the campaign.
Outside centre Venables, 25, took over the kicking duties last season for Tykes and finished fourth in the scoring charts with 168 points. This season he is hoping to do even better and find more consistency from the tee.
