England wing Tommy Freeman, 21, has signed a new “long-term” contract at Northampton Saints.
Freeman, who can also operate at full-back, scored 14 tries in 18 appearances for Saints last season.
The 21-year-old made his way onto Eddie Jones’ radar last year and won two caps on the summer tour to Australia.
Saints director of rugby Phil Dowson said: “Tommy is a bona fide freak of an athlete. He’s tall, big and fast, but he’s also ludicrously skilful as well, and those things combined add up to a special player.”
