Mercer to join Gloucester for 2023/24 season

Gloucester have sealed the signing of Zach Mercer, who will join the Cherry and Whites at the beginning of next season.
It ends a summer of speculation, where our rugby transfer expert Neil Fissler first reported that the former Bath man was planning to continue with Montpellier for the 2022/23 season, and then that Gloucester were the frontrunners to secure his services subsequently.
That is ultimately what has transpired and at still only 25-years-old, Mercer will feel he can break into England's set-up and have a lengthy international career.
