Doncaster may be worlds apart from south-west London but former astrophysics student and Harlequins prop Mak Wilson is more than happy to have ended up in down-to-earth south Yorkshire.
Wilson, who turned 22 last month, was released by Quins at the end of the season after a handful of appearances and was facing an uncertain future in the wake of the jobs crisis affecting rugby until Knights boss Steve Boden, further below, stepped in to offer him a deal.
