Nelson: Urgent changes needed to protect game

Rugby union is on a collision course with oblivion unless it takes steps to reduce the amount of contact in the game as cases of concussion continue to mount up.
This month’s Tests in the southern hemisphere have been gripping in terms of results, with all four home unions tied at 1-1 in their series before yesterday’s deciders, but the contact area has again taken a toll with cards abounding and head injury assessments failed.
