France had to rally again in the second half to beat Japan for a second successive week.
The Grand Slam winners found themselves trailing 15-13 with 10 minutes remaining at Tokyo’s National Stadium, where a minute’s silence was held before kick-off for former prime minister Shinzo Abe.
Replacement scrumhalf Baptiste Couilloud darted through a gap to swing the match back in France’s favour and extend their winning run to 10 matches.
France, without many of the key players who helped them to Six Nations success earlier in the year...
