BALANCING life as a physiotherapist and a semi-professional rugby player, Wales international Abbie Fleming has played a key part in Exeter Chiefs’ miraculous rise.
Having formed only three years ago, Exeter finished second in this year’s Premier 15s regular season. They then saw off Bristol in the semi-finals before falling to the mighty Saracens in the final.
Second row Fleming grew up in the south west and is delighted to play for the club she’s supported her whole life.
