Mgijima’s late try earns Pumas place in final

THE PUMAS claimed a shock 38-35 win over the Cheetahs to book their first-ever appearance in the final thanks to replacement Ali Mgijima’s try just before the hooter.
They will face the Griquas next week, after they upset the Bulls 30-19.
The Cheetahs looked to have the game in the bag when they led 32-17 late on but a yellow card to Rosko Specman led to Simon Raw scoring to narrow the gap before Mgijima’s heroics.
