Somerset make intentions clear

AN EMPHATIC final score of 69-15 has sent out a clear message to Somerset’s rivals in the second division of the Bill Beaumont County Championship that they mean business!
With an even game up until the 14th minute, Somerset then stamped their authority on the game with Essex only response being a penalty shortly after.
But from then on it was mainly Somerset that set the pace of the game, leading by 26-3 as referee Neil Sweeney blew the whistle for half-time.
