THE Barbarians are set to break new ground this summer by looking to hold a training camp in Monaco ahead of their match with England at Twickenham on Sunday, June 19 when they will be coached by France’s Grand Slam-winning duo Fabien Galthie and Shaun Edwards.
Former England lock George Kruis, who is retiring when his contract with the Saitama Wild Knights ends, has been sounded out by the Baa-baas, while Danny Care has also been invited to play. He will only take part if Harlequins aren’t involved in the Premiership final the day before.
