BATH are poised to make a swoop for former England international Piers Francis, who it was announced is leaving Northampton at the end of the season.
Saints revealed last week that Taqele Naiyaravoro, Api Ratuniyarawa and Ahsee Tuala would all be departing when their contracts run out in the summer.
Gravesend-born Francis, 31, had three years in the Saracens academy before moving to New Zealand when he was 18 and linking up with Auckland Blues.
