ULSTER were left fuming after a late try from replacement prop Callum Reid was disallowed to deny them becoming the first European team to win in South Africa in the URC.
South African TMO Quenton Immelman ruled that Hacjivah Dayimani had connected with Reid’s hand in the act of scoring, rather than the ball, so instead of an Ulster scrum or a penalty try, the decision went the Stormers way and they won a penalty on their own putin to close out the game.
