Winter still on gardening leave

COVENTRY director of rugby Rowland Winter remains on gardening leave with the Championship club offering no comment as to why he has not been performing his usual duties.
Since the middle of February forwards coach Alex Rae has stepped up to oversee the games against London Scottish, Bedford and Jersey Reds with CEO Nick Johnson also more hands-on in the rugby department.
Former England hooker and a good friend of Rae’s, Dylan Hartley, has done a guest coaching session with the club’s young hookers but that is believed to be a one-off.
