BRISTOL Bears could lose Samoan centre Alapati Leiua to ambitious ProD2 outfit RC Vannes when his contract runs out this summer. Vannes are planning another tilt at promotion next season and have offred Leiua – whose bother Ofisa Treviranus plays for London Irish – a deal to move across the Channel.
Leiua, 33, who can also play on the wing, started his career at the Hurricanes in New Zealand and moved to the Bears in 2017 after spending four seasons in the Premiership with Wasps.
